Both Kim & Dave were in the `blue tops`.
Kim had repaired his engine thanks to John at Quasar after the problems in the practice at the last meeting.

June 21st Race 1. Dave was in 7th place on the grid, with Kim immediately behind him in 9th. Both got off to a good start, each making up a place on the first lap. Dave continued to make good progress, moving into 3rd. by the end of lap 3, while Kim had moved up to 5th. On lap 6, Dave move into the lead which he maintained, despite being held up by back markers, to win the opening race.
Kim gained 1 more place to finish in 4th.
A good start to the days racing.

Race 2. The grid positions were reversed for this race, with Kim starting in 6th & Dave immediately behind in 8th. Again both started well, gaining a couple of places in the first 4 laps. On lap 6, Dave managed to pass Kim to move into 4th. He managed to make up 1 more place to finish in 3rd place. Kim was held up by back markers, which prevented him from trying catch Dave, but still finished in 5th place.

Final Yet again the grid position was reversed, Dave starting in 6th place, with Kim in 7th. Both made steady starts, making up a couple of places in the opening laps. Dave made up 3more places over the next few laps to move into 2nd place. On the penultimate lap his engine failed, forcing him to retire from the race. This moved Kim up to 4th place, where he finished the race. A disappointing end to a good days racing for Dave. As a result of the retirement, Kim out scored Dave in the points chase.

After the race, the top 4 finishers in the final were called to Parc Ferme, for post race scrutineering, which Kim passed with no problems.
